Jaipur, also known as the Pink City, is one of India’s most magical places. From colourful palaces and peaceful gardens to royal elephants and peacocks strolling through lawns—it’s the kind of place that feels like a real-life fairy tale.

Some of the city’s five-star hotels are actually old palaces, now open for guests. They're full of charm, history, and beauty in every corner. And guess what? Many of our homeware and giftware designs—like the Hathi Tea Towel and Peacock Placemats—are inspired by these amazing places!

Rambagh Palace – A Garden Full of Magic

Rambagh Palace is like something out of a dream. It was once home to a real Maharaja (king) and is now a luxurious hotel. As soon as you walk in, you’ll see lush green lawns, fountains, and lots of colourful flowers like jasmine, frangipani, and bright bougainvillea.

Inside the palace, the walls and ceilings are painted with elegant floral patterns, and there are delicate carvings everywhere. These beautiful details inspired us to create some of our soft, nature-inspired products—like our Jaipur Garden designs.

You can just imagine having tea in the palace garden, surrounded by the scent of flowers and the sound of birds. Pure bliss!

Jai Mahal Palace – Elephants, Colour & Celebration

Jai Mahal Palace is another royal gem. It has lovely gardens, old-style architecture, and a truly joyful vibe. One of the most exciting things? The decorated elephants you sometimes see during events. They wear colourful fabrics, bells, and even flowers—and they look amazing!

Our Hathi Tea Towel was inspired by these gentle giants. “Hathi” means elephant in Hindi, and to us, they represent strength, calmness, and beauty. We wanted to bring that feeling into something you can enjoy in your kitchen or give as a thoughtful gift.

Peacocks in the Garden – Art in Real Life

Peacocks are everywhere in Jaipur! These gorgeous birds with their shiny blue and green feathers love to wander around palace gardens like they own the place—and honestly, they kind of do.

In places like Samode Haveli or The Raj Palace, you’ll spot peacock artwork on walls, plates, cushions, and even floors. That’s where our Peacock Placemats came from. They’re fun, elegant, and perfect for adding some sparkle to your dinner table.
